Bard-YIVO Institute Winter Intersession Program
Winter Program Dates: January 10-26, 2012

YIVO will inaugurate this new educational initiative with a special program taking place from January 10 to January 26, 2012. The program will consist of nine mini-courses, taught by leading academics. Students may enroll in as many as three courses. Students have the option of receiving credit from Bard College.

Opening Lecture

January 9, 2012
6:30PM at YIVO

YIVO will launch the new program with a lecture by Cecile Kuznitz on the history of the YIVO Institute. Dr. Kuznitz is Associate Professor of Jewish History and Director of Jewish Studies at Bard College, and is currently writing the definitive history of YIVO. The lecture will be open to enrolled students and the general public.

Academics

Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 10-26, 2012. Students may enroll in as many as three classes, provided that they meet at different times. They will be held at YIVO, located at 15 West 16th Street, New York, NY.  MORE >>

Registration & Fees

Students enrolled for credit will receive one credit per course from Bard College.
